After 40 years as a Union activist, Todd Panas, our National President has decided to retire.
Todd started his Union career as a treasurer of his Local and attended his very first Component Convention and PSAC Convention, being the youngest delegate at both – at the young age of 20.
Over his long Union career, he has served in many Local and Regional positions in both Components he was part of: UNE (formerly National Component) and the former UEW. He has been a steward, treasurer, Local-Vice President, Local President, Assistant RVP, RVP and finally National President for the past 9 years.
He has worked tirelessly in putting members first and strived to improve the health and quality of life of each and every employee and workplace.
We would like to extend our utmost gratitude to Brother Panas for his years of service and dedication to the union movement. We wish him the best in his retirement and we have no doubt that he will succeed in whatever endeavors he chooses in the future.
Thank you Todd and Happy Retirement!
