The Health and Safety Committee is a forum where the employer and bargaining agents can meet to exchange information, discuss policies, programs and conditions and where the bargaining agents can communicate to the employer their views on matters important to their membership.
The goal of the Committee is to ensure that programs are in place for the prevention of hazards in the workplace and the education of employees in health and safety issues.
