The expectation of every employee is that their employer supports them in the performance of their duties. If there is a question about the performance of those duties, the expectation is that any type of review will be done in a fair and transparent way.
Recently, after a situation involving Fishery Officers in Nova Scotia, the Federal Minister of Fisheries and Oceans commented on such a process before all the facts were known and before a final report was issued. UHEW response to the Minister is provided in the letter below.
