International Women’s Day is a global day celebrated annually on March 8 for the advancement of the women’s rights movement, bringing attention to issues such as gender equality, reproductive rights, and violence against women.
In addition to bringing attention to issues, it is also an opportunity to celebrate women and the achievements that they have made. Please read on to learn about some of the Union of Health and Environment Workers women leaders.
